Air Conditioning Service (Level 2)
Service Technician Training
This course is designed to develop a person with basic HVAC skills or that has completed the Level 1 Maintenance courses up to a Level 2 Air Conditioning Service technician. The corresponding course is “Heating Service – Level 2.”
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Diagnose and repair electrical components on an air conditioner (not including the compressor)
- Adjust the refrigerant charge on an air conditioner
- Recover refrigerant from an air conditioner
- Perform an evacuation on an air conditioner
- Find leaks on an air conditioner
- Properly use all tools associated with these tasks
